That used to be a forest
Before carbon-emitting madness
Picked it clean
And left a wilderness
Now what this is
Is how the climate protests
This is a crisis
Made of human devices
Dystopia of mad egos rises
Quicker than the eye sees
Seeds of Isis
Concocting compromises
As nature springs surprises
They're indulging vain enterprises
This is a human crisis
Vampire-induced vices
Spitting venom, inflating prices
Riding us like Ulysses
This is a refugee crisis
And displacement rises
In disproportionate sizes
In places where defects
Of climate is heightened
What this reflects
Is tightened
Bottlenecks of communities
Wilting in the heat than majorities
And the minorities
Within the minorities
Are primarily refugees
Whose patience has been tested
To brazen effigies
This is a climate protest
To initiate a climate reset
Turn back the impending doom
Bring back the April bloom
Cause after all that's been said
Life's the greatest asset
This is a climate protest.
