Facing down stoned maras
In a cesspool swarming with gangsters
Down in the Americas 🌎
Rescuing youths 🆘
From the line of fire 🔫
In outlawed hoods
With ratatatat desire
He wanted to see change
And became that change
After losing a brother🕯️
To the bullets of a gangster☠️
He drew up an agenda📝
The blood of no other ⚰️
Youth shall be splattered
Without first off
Prying my dead fingers open 👐
With no weapons drawn☮️
No hate filled words spoken
Armed with the power of love 💟
He stoked the love of power
Many youths who once cowered
In the face of danger ⚠️
Who've been total strangers
To love, purpose and self worth
On the precipice of turning thugs 🔪
Now hold their heads up 🆙
Chances of survival once went south⬇️
But now they can open their mouth 👄
