This Is My Body

What can I give

That is not already Yours

You gave me this body

So I'll raise it by a cross

And I will not give

To God what does not hurt me

This is my body

Lord, break me at Calvary.

Refrain:

This is my body

Take it and break it

As often as You need it

In remembrance of Calvary

Lord take this body

Become a man in me

I am not my own

Raise in this body Your new home

This is my body.

Bridge:

Fill it now, Spirit of God

Take it and break it now

Here's my tribute to the cross

Take me Jesus, take me now.

Girl On Fire

Afghan refugee Saleema Rehman beat the odds to become
the first female refugee doctor in her Pakistani community.

Anywhere, anyday ๐ŸŒ„
Set a date๐Ÿ“†
Name the place ๐Ÿž️
And I'll bring my flame ✴️
The world is my runway ๐Ÿ›ฉ️
Cause I locked this game ⚽
When I'm unloading babies๐Ÿผ
Holding twenty o' these daisies ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿผ
On daily basis ๐ŸŒ… ๐ŸŒƒ
Pimping their faces ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป
Hogging their personal spaces ๐Ÿšผ
If that ain't the sweetest phases ๐Ÿคธ
There's nothing better than that ๐ŸŒ‹
From fleeing Afghanistan๐Ÿ’ฃ
To seeking asylum in Pakistan ☮️
Now making my last stand๐Ÿ•ด️
As a female pediatrician ๐Ÿ’Š
The first ever refugee Afghani๐Ÿฅ‡
With a degree in medicine ๐ŸŽ“
I live for this one thing ๐Ÿ’Ž
This is my captivity ๐Ÿ”—
This also my liberty ๐Ÿ”“
I want to serve humanity ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿฟ
Fueled by empathy๐Ÿ’‰
It's my escape from depravity ๐Ÿ˜ง
This girl is so wired⚡
She'll reset the weather in Tahiti ☁️
This girl is on fire๐Ÿ”ฅ

Matchless King

Who is there like You

Your mercies are ever new

And they never come to an end

Each morning like a true friend

You bring me to where You are

Your beauty sets You apart

There is none holy

No other placed most highly

As He Who Sits On The Throne

Those who serve You know

What it means to be free

You are Majesty

All creation flee

Before the light of Your presence

Yet You think of suffering kids

You're the One Who knows best

You see beyond my argument

And You come to me

You make me enter Your rest

Who can compare with Your glory?

No one comes even close

Yet You stripped Yourself of it

And took the Calvary Road

And gave Your life for Your own

Tho I received You not

What King for his kingdom

Can craft perfect redemption?

No other King in any land

Makes redemption more grand

There's no shame in it

When You call me family

You alone

May lay claim to the throne

All Hail the King Immortal

Who thinks of frail mortal

All Hail the King of Kings

Prostrate fall at the feet

Of the Matchless King.

Alabaster

I am not ashamed

To give You my shame

Just the way I am

And I know I'm trash

I pour out my soul,

Like oil I watch it flow

Down Your sacred instep

And cascade between the cleft

Of Your toes, there let me rest

As upon Your gentle breast

I am all I could be

Deadbeat, burdened with sin

I tasted the fullness of folly

I live at the peak of vanity

I am who I made me

Perfected in duplicity

Mere corrupt flesh

Blinded by materiality

Prodigal trapped in a mesh

Yet You bid me come

Sinful as I was

Robbed in the shame

That held me bound in chains,

Your whispers tenderly

In my ear, 'Your sins

Are forgiven thee'

And my chains break

And tumble down like flakes

Let my tears be a river

Where you wash Your feet

Restore me, Redeemer

You are my Peace.

Weight Of Glory

If I've ever loved You

I've never loved You

More than I love You now

I know I'm going thru

So I can come out

This test is too small

To make me doubt

Your everlasting love

This light burden cannot

Compare

With the weight of glory,

Even thru my despair,

You're revealing in me

No fear will hurt my shout

I'll stand my ground

And receive the victory

My God's working out for me.

Akpan

Doubtless

I

In the Land of the Living

While my heart is still beating

This one thing I still believe

I raise my hands to decree

Refrain:

I will see the goodness of the Lord

On God's earth while I'm living

I will doubtless come again with joy

My eyes will see His glory

Right here in the Land of the Living

For the Lord's blessing is my portion

I'll set my heart at rest by His word

I will see the goodness of the Lord.

II

While my heart is still bleeding

And my load is too heavy

I'll cast my cares upon Him

And lift my hands and receive

Akpan

Early

Early in the morning

On thundering pairs of wings

This child's worship

Shall rise to tease

Your Majesty's nostrils

I will arise right early

And set my praise to music

For You are worthy

There is no one like You

There's none besides You

Early in the morning

Before the rising of the sun

I will lift a song offering

And I will look up.

That Jesus Name

There is a name so sweet

My heart plays it on repeat

It resounds with every heartbeat

Tastes like honey to my lips

That Jesus name

Oh my, what a name

It's power will never change

It's power is here to change

That Jesus name

Will break any chain

It is present now to save

The name above every name.

But A Word

All hope was lost

When there was

So much to hope for

Shoved in the cold

I almost let go

And then He spoke

But a word

And healed my broken world

Hands that carried the cross

Now perfecting His work

In my life, in my song

When He spoke but a word.

Akpan

Forgiven

I'm forgiven

Cause Your side was riven

By the spear of a heathen.

Only a perfect Savior

Can carve an emblem of love

From an object of scorn

Like a rugged cross.

Akpan

Calvary On My Mind

Even when it seems

I have everything

You're still my Shepherd

Thru it all you endured

God's very blood shed

On that cruel, cold cross

You make me complete

I can not begin

To tell the story

Of my Savior King,

Of me loved by You

Every step You took

The weight of the cross

Pressed down Your shoulder

It was for the love

You had for a brother

One at war with God

You trekked to Golgotha

Every fateful step

Echoed my heartbeat

You marched to Your death

All because of me

Thank You for my life

For a second chance

For giving Your life

As just recompense

You are all I have

That means all I am

Your blood flowed like a river

No taste of vinegar

Could make You waiver

When I look over my life

It's Calvary on my mind.

Let Nigeria Be Nigeria Again

Happy Independence Day Anniversary, Nigeria

Let Nigeria be Nigeria again

By a Noble Cause freed and enslaved

A riot of peoples swayed

By the ideals of freedom

From the rising of the sun

To the setting of the same

Let Nigeria be Nigeria again

That posterity

May never have to say,

'There was a country,'

In mockery of its unity

Harvest the bitter history

And retell it to your offspring

Till it springs a seed

Of brotherly fellowship

Leave no detail out

And make everyone count

The founding fathers had a vision

Take it and run your course,

Let Nigeria be Nigeria again

That the past be not misery's bane

And history be not relived

This is our story

We must tell it, correct it

And direct it or hubris

Will grow teeth and bite us

To heed Nigeria's call

We must define our Noble Cause,

Let Nigeria be Nigeria again

Or labors of heroes past was

Is and shall ever be in vain.
