We cannot walk alone.
We must bond each, bone to bone.
We cannot build a cone
But a plateau where each of us stands a clone
Of another and our skin tone
Attracts opposites into our zone.
We must arise and erect a home
Filled with love to write a tome.
As we all must hone
The simplest virtues till our work's done.
All dressed up in purple robes
A royal race flashing diamond strobes
We cannot walk alone
And hewn out a stone of hope
From Mt. Despair, we'll die a crone.
Only together are we dope,
We need a majority of one
And a minority of none
And all hatred, racism and inequality be gone.
Like Social Networks on our phone,
We gatto follow, friend forever and condone
One another's weakness like corn pone.
And each day, like Dr. King has shone
The light, we'll let love take the throne
And make our everyday, kindness-prone.
We cannot walk alone
We'll wander lonely as a drone
Only together will we change this globe.
