Day 29: End of the Line

Tho my walk takes me through
The valley of the substance of death,
I'll truck on with my tools,
And tackle my demons like a debt.
I'll straddle the eye of a needle.
My camel and I will slide regal.
I heard all about fear
And its companionship with evil.
I've been trapped in its snare
My encounter was no less lyrical.
Tho I maintain one step at a time,
I'll get there at the end of the line.

It’s about this size
Runs on twos and got eyes
On the prize fakes can’t grasp.
It’s got genuine intellect,
A commitment designed for the wasp,
A flaw lost to deliberate neglect.

It walks on the skies
With feet of the stars that shine
Thro the night of relapse.
It’s the heat of the moment
Peculiarities that strum on harps,
Its weakness is the bond of its strength.

It’s tight as it’s wide,
Got one head held up high
For what lies beyond victory;
It is inventive genius,
Heroic feats that just had to be.
A story forever glorious.

Day 29: Living Legacy

Pedestaling a champion
On the ledge of challenges.
Gallant like a stallion
Going thro the realm of Hades;
My misery is a portal
Into the exotic phenomenal.
Who I am
Is the redefinition of Adam;
Temptations
Are pointers to my predestination.

Death of a father
Conceived a seed
That exploded into a million dreams.
This is my story,
The conviction by which I have lived
On this terrestrial surface,
The makings of a destiny
That cannot be erased
Like a living legacy.

Day 29: Intimations

To what can I compare mutuality?
With what do I measure its beauty cause it's

Like when a boy loves a girl,
Like when a girl loves a boy.
Like when perfection is given power to exhale,
Like when a beautiful thing comes with a beautiful choice.
Like a life lived in the spotlight
Exonerated from guilt; innocent of strife.
Like a tomorrow sprouting in today's seed.
Like a very present help in the time of need.
Like welcome rain in its season;
Like the sun in the magnificence of rising.
Like details of a mystery that is comprehensive;
Like a captivating view from the right perspective.
Like a newborn baby's toothless smile,
Like a breakthrough after the 99th try,
Like the preview of a new beginning;
Like the climax of a memorable ending.
Like the first lines of romantic poetry;
Like the exquisiteness of Chinese pottery.
Like the denouement of a suspense-filled novel.
Like when concrete is fortified with gravel.
Like when we shed a lone tear of joy;
Like when a child receives a new toy.
Like when the music will never end;
Like when we find a true friend.

Day 29: Soulforce

When you hit that personal terminal
All your wishes and hopes rush at you like wild animals.
You can even reach out and touch your dream.
Cause yeah, it becomes literally and practically animated.
There is a captivating fact about reaching destination;
It's a definition of the individual void of inessential interruption.
It’s the turning point of an entire life, the power of a billion suns
At your fingertips; the climax of fulfillment on the fringes of your mind.
Cause you have thru fear and trembling, gained a customized paradise.
As you wade in the water, the sensation gets you high,
You observe meaning in the dark side of the moon.
You have arrived and rivers of tranquility cuddle and pamper you.

Everybody falls for something at some point in the race of life.
It might dock you on a peaceful shore or haul in the storms of strife.
Still nobody dares deny the evidence of that special something; inspired
Just about the size of a morsel of desire,
That ignites your passion and overrides your senses like a consuming fire
Giving verve to your dreams and on rare occasions, exhibiting
A knack for running along and rendering you disarmed and incomplete.
I have stumbled on the verge of discovery
The surprising thing is I was slighted by the cause of searching.
What is it I search for?
That my soul will not exist but fall for?
If I am to nail it at every turn of the road, I cannot tell for sure.

But I must continue searching though it brings me to my knees.
Because it burns within my heart like hot embers, impossible to resist.
Once again, I’m headed down the long and winding itinerary,
The place where desire is born, not knowing exactly what I might find,
Yet determined to never give it up until I bind.
Because the tragedy is not to die but to be wasted.
No other ill could more effectively root on a crippled life.
I have pasted my ears to eternity and I wear my heart like a bracelet.
