Day 27: Wheel with the Stars

I long to wheel with the stars
Above earthly seas,
To pitch my tent in esoteric paths
As I constantly roam the heavenlies.
It’s something I feel I gatto do
Eventually it’s something that comes true.
I wanna be the peak of the mountain.
I wanna be the particle of snow on Everest.
To bubble like a life-producing fountain.
And when my days are completed
I long to be the article of posterity
That resolves the climax of a story that never really ends.

IntShoWriMo 2014: Day 27

Day 27: Rusty Razor On Edge

Effective listening is imperative to effective writing. Listening carefully while sitting on a crowded subway, drinking coffee in a lonely diner, or asking a stranger for directions can lead to new characters, settings, and story lines. It is also important to listen to your own characters. Make a list of ten questions to ask a character you are developing. Listen to your character’s answers, diction, and inflection, and write down what you hear and see in your imagination. Most people, including fictional characters, will tell you who they are. You just have to ask.

DAY 27: Anticipate

Courtesy: Caras Ionut (modified)

Hope is the element of surprise
And it's strongest at the bleakest nighttime.
Growing till it blinds the innocent brightness of daylight.
Hope is the multiplier of expectations,
A rope in a maze of confused visions.
It's produce is the breathing essence of life.
Cause hope never dies.
Hope springing high
Rising eternally.
Hope in all his beauty
Holds me captive
Of unalloyed liberty.
Shattering the articles of captivity,
To offset the course of homeostasis.
Hope has called me by name,
Taking me by the hand,
He placed me on the center stage.
But not before rescuing me from the clutches of stagnant shame.
Now I'm lounging in the shade of his pinions
Hosted by expectations in their millions
As from my insides, I sense the eruption
Of a daring nameless emotion
Jaunting me to the verge of individual perfection.
I have been touched by heaven's emissary
You know ama get that by any means necessary.
This code defines my origin.
And as long as I inhale this toxic oxygen
It will remain eternally
The prize I press to achieve, explicitly.

Day 27: Conceit

Photo: chalkboardquotes.wordpress.com
A single road forked in a yellowed wood,
The unfolding read like a mellow book
For the visually impaired.
Open secrets are designed to trap all existing without a care.
So I pick up the pieces of the puzzles of the life
I discarded on my path to strife.
And I count my losses,
As I get off my high horses.
Retribution
Will be the reward of all machinery of persecution.
I lay down my baton
Like a beat up penitentiary warden
And pick up my courage,
Ammunition and a multiplication of soulja rage.
Now on the streets, everybody that see me
They really wanna be me, cause the degree
Of the set of ideals I accomplish
Are exotic treasures to relish.
A breath in the wind
Is the measure of the adversary’s wit.
I pull myself together, like a dose of forever
And straddle momentum like a speedometer.
My reality speaks like an oracle
Forcing eternity to pierce the temporal with its tentacle.
In a most profound way,
It inspires thoughts of better days.
I have compromised the vanity of people-hating
For the exquisite beauty of ingenuity;
I was born of desperate fury;
A seed of the poetic glory.
My triumph will invent a unique existence,
And tear up every wall of resistance.
In a nutshell,
The days of my life will amaze, will daze
Like a fairytale’s spell.
