Day 18: Aint Broken

Photo Courtesy: somewhere on the cyberspace

If it aint broken, don’t try to fix it.
You try to gild the lily, you jinx it.
Take a lesson from life and six feet.
If you can’t make it, then don’t fake it.
If you can’t break it, you can’t take it.
Don’t hate it if you cannot dig it.
If you will surpass it, then face it.
You can’t refuse it till you tried it.
If you must judge it then, roll with it.
If you aint tried it, don’t wager on it.
If you can’t feel it, don’t hurt on it.
If you can’t imagine it, why want it?
If you aint venture, don’t think about it.
If you aint down on it, you miss on it.
If you don’t believe, don’t try to see it.
If you can’t be true to love, don’t share it.
If you can’t touch the sky don’t throw a fit.
If you can’t hold it down, don’t try to lock it.
If it aint stolen, don’t try to fetch it.
If it aint broken, don’t try to fix it.

Day 18: Solitary

If only I could reach the peak of ambition;
Take just one bite off the fruit of paradise
I would have accomplished my life's mission.
Seems invisible to the eye
Yet, I run this race to win.
I am not afraid if I fail
Because I rise still.
There's this calling my heart claims
And my heart it acclaims.
It calls me to all that I can be.
And in this place, impossible lacks companion,
Of pain, I can only reminisce
As my desires take form
And soar on the poetic wings of a solitary fantasy.

Day 18: Walls of Destiny

I can feel destiny looking over my shoulder;
The influence of karma pushing me off the deck.
My prophecy’s blowing me in alongside the breakers.
The tender wings of my courage are lifting me off the wreck.

I feel I can make it now
As the burden of oracle thrusts my feet off ground.
Haste is speed
And I call forth a whirlwind
As I reach out to perfect the process
And hurl all the properties which I’m obliged to profess

Into the morning of pure daylight.
Lambent strands of light irradiate the face of the skies
In the wake of a billion brilliant stars;
All of God’s children each acting his/her part.

The moon’s soft glow has the undertone of a smile
Even the air gives off mystic waves of an enchanted symphony.
And the film flickering on Destiny’s walls stars me, myself and, I.
So I know why I’m feeling the way I’m feeling.

My cause has chanced a habitat to nestle;
A reason to sign off the wrestle.
And it’s all thanks to the qualities I admired,
On the walls of destiny are printed dreams I sired.

The wait of the calling
Has matured and firmed the roots of the seed.

I have been found
Because I wanted to be found.
