For The Father's Pleasure

It pleased God

Before the foundations

Of the world

To predestine

The coming of His Son

And enact the season

We celebrate as Christmas

It is an anniversary

The celebration of Jesus

A supernatural party

Commemorating the agape

Long before

Men ever trod

This guilty sod

It was ordained by God

That one sweet day

On a cold winter night

On cattle hay

Shall be born the Christ

Savior of the world

Wonderful Counselor

Prince of Peace

Kingdom Authority

It went according to plan

God translated to man

Thus was the Father's good pleasure

To give us the Kingdom

Thru the gift of His Son.
