Day 12: Love's Loving

Photo Courtesy: Somewhere on the cyberspace

Love has lifted me on firm wings,
Fed my soul with the sweetest things,
Held my parts together in rings
Of warmth that makes my whole heart sing.

Love’s rebuke will heal but not sting,
Love will rise from dirt and still bling,
Love has held me fast like a string,
Now all I am, to love will cling.

Love oh love, your heat does not singe.
The door to your courts has no hinge.
Love has doped me with its syringe.
When we roll, we go on a binge.

Day 12: Fall Apart

I can’t fall apart,
Definitely not now.
Even though the wind is ripping my sails to shreds.
The horrendous storm is breaking in
And breaking up the decks
Of my soul.
I can feel the back recesses crumbling.
Forbidden darkness taking its toll.
Still I’m not giving in
To this haunting feeling,
My center of being will hold,
My weaknesses will conquer deterring strength.
Not now, when I’m this close,
Splicing splintered mental fragments
In this unsettling of everything rational.
If the degree of complications turn out to be unusual;
Even if my walls fall through,
Quitting will be the last thing I do.

Day 12: Dust

Courtesy: stumbleupon (Slightly modified)

Did you wanna see me broken?
Crumbling to the cruel phrases that was spoken?
You didn't really believe I'd fall for such stunt, did you?
That I'd be face down and my vision blurred by a deluge?

I am no figment of your fickle imagination,
Neither some byproduct of your naive mental evaluation.
Description of me couldn't fit your trite tongue.
So you darn well stay where you belong.

Pluck the speck from your eyeball,
Quit doubting and observe, as my change sets ashore
Like a loaded pregnant camel through a needle's eye.
Learn of me and be chastised.

It's not enough to have all the world as back up
Hiding behind the voices of the crowd, playing God.
For in the event of my demise
A million seeds will arise.

You may deride me all you want
You may cut my soul with hateful words
Then trample me. Yet am I not undone
I rise to the occasion like trodden dust.

Day 12: Impossible is Unacceptable

Photo: bridgingtheunbridgeable.com

Forces of limitation are held captive by their own invention.
But like a 20/20 vision, I see through distinctly.
I will not be denied access into triumph by random distractions.
My intent is like burning glass and illuminating,
So you should understand when I insist,
Impossible is unacceptable.

I remain undiscouraged by erratic tendencies.
Although, the road’s probably inaccessible
A little voice informed me that resource awaits me
In the most unlikely and difficult places.
Like a pack of ice in a lake of fire
Inventing a niche with a molecule of desire.

The decision to take a stand fortified my mind
Against the gimmicks of persecution.
So I put my back to the grind
And locked my destiny in position.
My dream is brilliant like an HD picture.
It’s ever before me, and shoots me over dilemma.

My faith revitalizes my composure.
Like a foretaste of one day in forever
Are the particulars of the struggles I encounter,
To compare the evil I go through with the blessings I perceive.
And with due respect to all that’s inevitable,
Impossible is and will always remain unacceptable.
