If He Didn't Love Me

He gave His hand to me

When I was there in the dark

Jesus stood by me

When the devil came to tear me apart

He gave me all He had

Jesus gave His life for me

He will be my Shepherd

And He will never leave me

Nor forsake me.

There never was a time

When Jesus ever failed

He would never lie

Of His good promises no not one has failed

He came down here below

That I might belong above

And oh what peace my heart knows

As I wonder where would I be

If He didn't love me.
