A printed page
May provoke an image
That shuts the muse in a cage.
A blank page
Is like a 12 gauge
That blasts to hell strains of blockade.
A printed page
Is like spent carnage,
An overstuffed, loud cottage.
A blank page
Is a cabin center-staged
On a vast, lonely acreage.
A printed page
Is loaded carriage
That gives the creativity stoppage.
A blank page
Crackles with a 1,000 voltage
That shocks the muse out its blockage.
