You lose focus your legs tangle.

Are the simplest things played for trite.

The sooner we realize,

The best we handle compromise.

And when you come to terms

With the reality inside of you—

Status update confirmed—

You’ll grasp all the truths to hold you.

Day 17: Certainty

Like the unborn seed of mystery,

Seeking the advent of misery

To crack open his shell and thereby announce his ministry,

My life begins on the throes of a pronouncement

And keeps glowing even after sunset.

It is a shower that's heaven-sent

Emancipating the universe from drought's captivity

With a positive activity.

Even if my days were written up in water

Its uniqueness will churn up an everlasting frozen inscription.

For from the crypts of the gutters

I roused myself to spark up a revolution,

As I emerge,

Like a plainsong

Without back-up, to submerge

The forces of demise

With the certainty of tides.

Have you ever

Been set ablaze by the heat of passion?;

Or been hurtled by an overwhelming influence of inspiration?

Have you ever

Buckled under the weight of intense conviction;

One so deep you succumb and become martyr to a notion

Strange, intricate and distinctly, not your own?

Have you ever had to stand for something alone?

Have you ever

Stuck out in a moment of unrequited love;

Throttled your crush till you felt your soul should burst?

Have you ever

Attempted the impossible;

Or made a move to alter the irrevocable?

Have you ever

Anticipated illumination from sinister storm clouds;

Hoped for a twist of fate at the point you hit the ground?

Have you ever

Had the impression you were coming through,

But at the same time, intimate forces were up against you?

Have you ever

Tasted the nectar of a friendship unforgettable;

Gone through the motions of a companionship indestructible?

Have you ever

Experienced the delights of forever in a mo;

Been caught up in perfect raptus that brought on a feeling of vertigo?

Have you ever

Exhaled, might be worth a try

With your back bent to breaking in a tiresome grind?

Have you ever

Written out the stages of your own biography;

Laid to rest all issues regarding your immortality?
