Toes Of A Polar Bear

For a minute there

I thought life unfair

Then I touched the toes

Of a polar bear

And my hopes scaled the poles

How does a mere beast cope

And thrive in so much cold?

Yet a gifted man like me

Can't shake this world's cold

And truly believe and give.
