Broke Like Rules

I heard you state the rules

And believe me I dig you too

It's just I can't abide rules

I'll lay it on the table

I came this far by reneging

So it's not unusual for me

To step out of line and foray

Into the gardens of strange

I hate it when that happens

Tho I'd kill to make it happen

I'd rather live by my rules

It's so much easier to stay true

I'm sorry I broke the rules

Yet not for unplugging the juice

Some folks just can't stand rules.
